The Christa Renee Band
Christa Renee Band plays a unique mix of reggae, soul, rock and dance rhythms set to memorable melodies and lyrics that range from political and social to intimately personal.
Christa Renee, the child of a Jamaican mother and American father, tackles topics such as police brutality, race, 9/11, sexuality and the emotions of personal relationships. The lyrics are strong, the beats are in...fectious.
Christa hails from NJ and put together this outfit out of a need to accentuate the strong world and dance rhythms at the heart of her songs. Now residing in Manchester, NH, she has put together a group of seasoned professional musicians who have committed to this project out of love and respect for the music.
Though mainly an original act, the Christa Renee Band has reworked and interpreted the songs from such artists as The Police, Bob Marley, Nancy Sinatra, Patti Smith and Amy Winehouse.

The Youngest Sun
The Youngest Sun is a band that got their start deep in the woods of Dublin, New Hampshire, in the middle of their high school years. They pride themselves in not having a set genre but dabbling in different kinds of music and improvisational experiments. Each person in the band brings a different style and personality to each musical piece. Ethan sings and holds down the bass with Jordan on drums, well Rory on guitar and Dan on the keys, lock together and bring in the highs. Together they form a high energy style of music that causes excess dancing and fun.

Luther Guitar Jr. Johnson
Of the three blues guitarists answering to the name of Luther Johnson, this West side-styled veteran is probably the best-known.In the early ‘80s, Luther appeared in the original Blues Brothers movie, playing guitar on the famous Maxwell St. with John Lee Hooker. Adding to the general confusion surrounding the triumvirate: like Luther "Georgia Boy" Johnson, "Guitar Junior" spent a lengthy stint in the top-seeded band of Muddy Waters (1972-1979). A career that has spanned almost 40 years, Luther has “12 or 13 records” to his credit on major Blues labels. His rendition of “Walking the Dog,” a live performance from the 1982 Montreux Festival’s Blues Night, was included on the Atlantic Records collection Blues Explosion, an album that won a Grammy Award in 1984. In 1999, Luther’s second Telarc release, Got To Find A Way , was nominated for a Grammy Award in the category of Best Traditional Blues Album. He was also nominated for a Grammy for “Best Traditional Recording,” with The Legendary Muddy Waters Tribute Band. YOU’RE GONNA MISS ME (WHEN I’M GONE), on Telarc Records.

Hobsons Choice
Formed out of a desire to play music in front of new audiences, the genesis for this duo happened in Brooklyn, NY; a perennial hotbed of musical activity of all sorts. Both Michaela & Thomas have found success in their own right playing in NYC and beyond, but wanted to take their efforts to the next level. Combining Michaela’s soulful, sweet and smooth voice with Thomas’ tastefully twangy and bitingly bluesy guitar playing was only natural. The fact that both are capable of writing songs that could make Townes Van Zandt cry or get Chuck Berry on the dance floor only makes them together an unstoppable force.
